The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has redesigned this website, featuring more than 100 pages of fun educational content for kids, parents, and teachers. With the help of its host, Energy Ant, kids can learn about energy and challenge their brains with energy Sukoku, crossword puzzles, and word searches.Safe Electrity® is a nationally recognized, multi-media public awareness program designed to compliment the existing safety-education activities of utilities and educators. The program provides information through radio and television public service announcements, news releases and articles, as well as, its comprehensive website dedicated to promoting electrical safety and efficiency.

Louie the Lightning Bug is a featured character of the "Electric Universe" - this cartoon lightning bug character teaches electrical safety.
