A small contribution can make a big difference
As a Farmers Electric Cooperative member, you have a unique opportunity to support Operation Round-Up®, a program that provides financial support to organizations and individuals within the 6 counties served by Farmers Electric Cooperative.
How does it work?
Farmers Electric Cooperative members have the option of participating in the Operation Round-Up program, which rounds each month’s electric bill up to the next whole dollar amount. For example, if your electric bill is $134.25, your bill would be rounded up 75 cents to $135.00. Monthly donations can be as little as one penny or as much as 99 cents. The average annual contribution per member is $6.00. The max annual contribution is $11.88.
How is the money used?
Contributions will generally be made to non-profit, civic or community-based organizations that demonstrate a commitment to enhance the quality of life in the region. Projects should generally fit into one or more of these categories: Community Service, Economic Development, Education and/or Youth, Environment, or Disaster Relief including disaster relief for individual members.
