Famers Electric Cooperative Inc. makes every effort for safety excellence.  Ongoing training of safe practices for all personnel is a priority for our cooperative. Continued safety education of our members and the community is an important achivement that we strive to obtain.

Safe Electricity is a nationally recognized, multi-media public awareness program designed to compliment the existing safety information through radio and television public service announcements, news releasesand articles, as well as its comprehensive website dedicated to promoting electrical safety and efficiency.

Safe Electricity hosts The Electric Universe and  Louie's Space. The Electric Universe and e-SMART kids is geared for teachers and students in elementary, middle and high school levels, these sites explore the science and history of electricity, safety information, games, communication, conservation, energy efficiency and careers related to electricity; however, is also great information for adults too.
